THE STUDIO

Arquoise is a small letterpress stationery studio committed to the craft of traditional letterpress printing using handset metal and wood type. Blending new and old printing techniques to create light hearted modern designs. A design aesthetic inspired by the studio’s eclectic collection of vintage ornamental type. From concept to completion, each detailed stage requires a hands-on approach. Every item is hand printed using 19th century old equipment.

Since 2015 Arquoise has been printing paper products such as custom stationery, greeting cards, special invitations, small business packaging, hand bound notebooks and much more! Arquoise Press is located in the beautiful Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia.

Small batch prints - WHY? Simply put, Arquoise is not a large scale production studio. Each card is a hand-made original, carefully designed and hand-printed with love and intention. Arquoise was created as a soulful endeavour with a purpose to spread sparkles of light, kindness, thoughtful giving and love through tiny paper products. All cards are printed on premium 100% cotton paper and paired with a cheerful mixed fibre colour envelope.

Arquoise is constantly learning, shifting, growing and looking to find ways to implement eco-conscious business practices. In 2020 Arquoise switched over to ECO-Compostable clear sleeves.
