letters of few words

There’s something very special about receiving a greeting card in the mail, and I’m not referring to your digital inbox! I’m referring to an old-fashioned, hand written sentiment card that has traces of a physical postal journey.  These tiny vessels allows us to connect in a more personal way than the quicker version of texting or sending an email. It has that unique human touch and signature that the digital realm can not replace. It’s an imprint and a trace of thought that was created especially for the receiver from a loved one. If physical cards are not your thing, that’s fine too! However, I’m a romantic and I’m here to give a few helpful tips to those who chose to pick-up that pen and put in the extra effort!

Is the not knowing what to write keeping you from sending out a formal greeting card? I know it can sometimes feel overwhelming or even hard to know exactly what to write and how to communicate sentiments, I’m there too! In all honesty i’m great at creating visually pleasing cards, however my writing skills do not measure up. When I send cards to family and friends my messages are always simple, authentic and heartfelt.

Simple written statements are always enough! It doesn’t need to be complicated, just authentic. The act of choosing the perfect card and going the extra mile to stamp it, address it and mail it is already a big part of your caring message.

Again, keep it simple and real. Remember, the act of sending is already showing the act of caring.

Below are a few writing prompts to get those writing juices flowing.
